The Challenge: A Shopfront Door Catching on the Floor

London Window and Door Repairs Ltd. were called to Costa Coffee at City Thameslink, London, to repair a shopfront entrance door that was dragging on the floor.

The damage to the floor indicated the problem area, and a dragging entrance door can make it hard to access the establishment. It can also lead to further issues if not repaired promptly.

Having a reliable entrance is key for a busy coffee shop like this, and we prioritised attending to the faulty door.

Our Solution: Commercial Door Realignment

Our engineers assessed the problematic entrance door and performed the realignment work required to the door within its frame so that it would no longer catch on the floor when opening and closing.

After realignment, the door was operating smoothly without catching on the floor.

This kind of commercial door repair can often prolong the life of an entrance and prevent the need for full replacement if a minor adjustment is enough to prevent further issues.

The Result: A Door That No Longer Catches on the Floor

The shopfront door repair carried out by our engineers has left the entrance to Costa Coffee at City Thameslink operating as it should, allowing reliable access to the establishment.

London Window and Door Repairs Ltd.’s commercial door repair service can be recommended for a variety of shopfront door issues.

Draggy, sticking, or faulty shopfront doors can all cause larger problems down the line if not repaired in a timely manner.
